you can get anything you want at alice's restaurant. exceptin' alice.

can anyone explain the origins of listening to arlo guthrie's "alice's restaurant" on thanksgiving?

i mean, i do it, i'm listening to it now. the first time i heard it was at erin p.'s house after watching... the wall maybe? that was the first time i ever held cris' hand. but that's neither here nor there.

but holding cris' hand might be the most interesting part, whether here or there.

ugh... that's a story that begins in 1992 and ends june of last year. there's lots of foul language and beautiful memories and blue overcoats and and trains and contortionism (not in the dirty way) and and music exchanges and verbal art and sketches and love letters and a bad (but not at all unexpected) ending.

sadly, there are no oqzcubes in that story.
