speaking of lunch (hungry now), is there still a restaurant in Denver where there are trapeze artists and waterfalls, etc.? Does that sound familiar? It seems like it was a Mexican restaurant or something. Years ago when I was but a child we went there (a couple of times) on our way through Denver to various parts of the midwest. I never forgot that restaurant, and in fact I think I still have the menu from it in a box of things I've saved. Isn't that silly?

MeldruminMoldova had ice cream for lunch. You had tuna and yogurt.

All of a sudden, my lentil and couscous soup doesn't sound very exciting.....

Is this a special diet or something?

how about edamame with sauteed veggies in a whole wheat tortilla with grilled chicken and rice?

and yes! Casa Bonita. How fun to remember that (you can see that food ranks high in important things for me. Unfortunately).

the way I LOVE sopapillas: with a munched-out bite in the corner into which I've poured honey. Mmmmmm. Haven't had one for AGES.

almost as good as jlztfwy

I was looking at your pictures. World Leader Pretend - didn't I read about them on Benjamin Wagner's blog and how they performed on the Today Show?

heatherfeather Wednesday, November 02, 2005 10:13:00 pm

sass,

they DEFINITELY played on the today show. i didn't know until WAY after the fact that NBC and WMG replaced all of their gear that they lost in katrina... i didn't know about benjamin wagner until i looked it up just now, and yes. it turns out that benjamin is andy's cousin - andy is the keyboard/guitarist and my friend matty's (keys, guitar, background vox) really really good friend! so the pictures that are on his blog basically feature andy and matty...

i love those 2 boys...
