i have a better song for you to play in your head: My Sharona.
my work here is done. that oughtta last you a while.
I like Night Court, and that song isn't nearly as annoying as, say, the theme from Full House, or any show from TGIF, for that matter...
I'm Henry VIII, I am, Henry VIII I am, I am.
Night Court!!! I would never have remembered Night Court EVER if you hadn't mentioned it. Are you talking Night Court from forever ago or is there a new show called that? (Can you tell I never watch TV??)
Oh, yes!! My favorite show of all time. Harry Anderson is my prototype.
Someone once asked Harry how he got to be a judge; his name was at the bottom of a list of potential candidates and the selection committee needed to choose a judge quickly.
"I was the only one home on a Saturday," he said.
This has become a sort of mantra for me: be the one who's home on a Saturday. In other words, always be open to possibility.
I had a crush on Billie (Ellen Foley). Fact: she is also the female singer in Meatloaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Light."
Remember when Roz was diagnosed with diabetes and somehow this caused her to hallucinate? And then Dan talked her off a ledge because she thought he was her father? Most absurd portrayal of a diabetic ever.
Billie is in Meatloaf?? Paradise by the Dashboard Light---great song, brings back fun memories...and so does Night Court. I loved Dan.
Can't remember the song, tho, heath. Hope it's become unstuck...and hopefully My Sharona didn't take its place.
the theme song is cheesy easy listening jazz. it's instrumental or i'd sing it for you in a comment. i hate jazz.
and i actually like my sharona. :)
I always get it confused with "Suicide is Painless" from M*A*S*H. That's the one I now have stuck in my head, since I can't remember Night Court's song.
I won't even tell you what wa sin my head before SIP; it's far too contagious. *shudder*
oo markie post and john laroquette or however you spell it and the baliff, bull. i think he is responsible for my affinity for bald men. he's hot.
Night Court theme. Dig that funky bass. I gotta have more woodblock, baby.
i got a fever and the only cure is more woodblock, baby.
now suicide is painless is in my head...
