this morning while walking down the hall to my office, i dropped the following in a space of 15 feet:
- keys
- nalgene bottle
- umbrella (supposed to have thunderstorms today - yay! just no hail yet. not ready for that)
- keys (again)
- sunglasses (from all the bending over they fell off my head)
- and, evidently, the voluntary muscle control in my fingers

i can really identify with this, and not just because i have muscular dystrophy. totally kidding, i actually don't have that disease. but sometimes it feels like i do.
yesterday as i was talking to a co-worker outside our building, i executed a pretty sweet hand gesture for emphasis--and threw my phone in the bushes. it could've hit the cement i guess, so that part was good. but even for me, that was a low point on the motor skills graph.
i understand your pervasive sense of shame now.
wait, you don't have a pervasive sense of shame? that must be me... [sigh]
