okay so here's the thing

erik, i told yaymee that you said the two are you are pretty much best friends now (i have the original statement saved and it is, "i'm pretty sure we're best friends now, which is awesome.")

i think she's down with that.

remember to buy your best friend's really good friend, hf cool stuff to keep in with your best friends. it makes you look like a good guy.

and i mean COOL STUFF, not "cool" stuff.

that's just my nickel's worth of free advice for you on a monday.

I just read your comments on my blog. Seriously, where did you learn to be so funny? Because I have got to enroll there.

Thomas Monday, August 22, 2005 1:17:00 pm

I almost feel unfunny compared to you. I am not even worthy of calling myself the "funny one" anymore.

heatherfeather Monday, August 22, 2005 1:20:00 pm

well, that makes me sad.

i don't cruise blogs that aren't any good.

wait a minute, is this you flirting in an obtuse sort of way?

Thomas Monday, August 22, 2005 3:10:00 pm

People have called me "obtuse" before. But they said they meant it in a good way.

Thomas Monday, August 22, 2005 3:10:00 pm

Or that is what I chose to believe.

i see where you're coming from, i do. it's not that i don't see. however, here's what i'm thinking, tell me if this makes sense:

yaymee and i have established that we shall not let material items compromise the purity of our relationship. this pact extends even to cool stuff that could conceivably be purchased for our close friends.

do you see what i'm getting at here? it's all very complex, i wouldn't be surprised if fractions were involved. but i'm sure you see the basic logic.

i truly appreciate the suggestion, though, keep 'em coming!

i'm not quite sure what's been going on in my law-school induced absence, but it apperas to involve erik making a friend. how, exactly, did that happen?

heatherfeather Tuesday, August 23, 2005 9:55:00 am

erik - hmph. i don't remember you two talking about transcending material goods. i remember the commencement (but no execution) of a cage fight, and establishing you both rule at the same time, but no abolition of the material world.

p-man - it happened while you were... um, i don't know. maybe while you were looking for potty humor street signs to post on your blogolicious? yeah, i got nothing.
