i used to own the ugliest couch in the world when i lived in georgia

as you can see, it was black and brown velour in the pattern of turkey feathers.

it was SO comfortable, could seat 6 easily, and sleep two friendly people.

the woman from whom i bought it told me that her husband named it "the jungle of love." i almost decided not to buy it when she said that.

I have to say, I've never seen anything quite like it. And the "jungle of love" would certainly give one pause.
Why are the ugliest couches the most-comfortable?? Is it not possible to make a really cool-looking couch comfortable? Do the couch police only let couch makers pick one thing: comfort or looks? When I had my first apartment, I had my grandma's old couch. It was in perfect condition, super comfortable and ugly as sin. Bright ucky yellow with big ole flowers and brown colors in there. I don't remember exactly. But it sure was comfy. Thank goodness for couch covers (which are a big pain in the buttocks)....

you know, if i wasn't paying attention to the pic, i would've thought ernie was part of that couch. the "jungle of love" appears to have a very dodgy past. better that you didn't try to figure it out...
whatever happened to it anyway?
